How long does it take for the patches to work?
The patches begin working instantly upon application. Within minutes, measurable differences in the body’s electrical field as well as in it’s biochemistry begin to occur. How long it will take for you to see and feel the results is a different story altogether. Some people notice changes occurring the very first day of use, but more commonly it takes a little bit longer to perceive what is happening deep inside the body. It is recommended to allow a full three months on the stem cell patches before expecting results, but at times, depending on the situation, it can take up to six months to notice significant changes. This is because the patches work from the inside out, and many times there are undetectable changes occurring deep within the body.
How do I know the patches are working?
Biochemical and bioelectrical changes begin to occur instantly and have been validated in clinical studies conducted by independent doctors, scientists, major universities, and hospitals around the world. Changes are recording using BioPulsar equipment, thermography, urine and blood tests and EEG. Whether you can recognize the changes without this equipment is based on you. Awareness is key. Some of the first things people tend to notice is improved quality of sleep, more energy, better mood, decreased pain, accelerated wound healing, improved memory and focus, and decreased stress and anxiety. Taking a close up photo of your face will help you to notice a difference in skin appearance, which often becomes noticeable in the first couple of months. Without a photo to compare, however, it can be harder to recognize the changes since they tend to occur gradually.
Can I wear more than one patch at a time?
Yes! You can wear up to six patches at a time. As for the patches in the Y-age trio, only wear two at a time. If you want to use all three of them, wear one at night and the other two during the day or vice versa.
What happens if I forget to remove the patches after 12 hours?
Your body works in cycles. If you leave the patches on too long, your body will begin to ignore the signal so that it can maintain these natural cycles. If you keep them on too long, it won’t hurt you, but the patches will eventually stop working for you. If you forget to take your patches off when you go to sleep, skip a day of wearing them to give your body a break.
Can I get the patches wet?
Yes! the patches stay on well in the shower and while swimming provided you press them on firmly all around the edges. Sweating can sometimes make the patches come off. If they do not stay on during activity, you can use sports tape, a waterproof bandaid or surgical tape or wear them on your clothing. The patches work the same on both sides, so you can either wear them on top of your clothing or stick them on the inside…either way, they will work.
There are several different locations in the instruction booklet, how do I know which one to use?
It is recommended to rotate between the recommended locations to support the different meridians of the body. In some cases, you may find that some locations work better for you. With the stem cell patches, for example, some people have noticed that their brain function improves when wearing the patch on the back of their neck and that their digestion improves by wearing the patch below the belly button. No matter where you wear the stem cell patch, it works systemically throughout your entire body. In the case of the two patch systems, they work with the electrical system of the body and when placed properly, you should feel them immediately. When you find the right location or locations the two patch systems work within seconds of application. To find the right location, you can either leave half of the backing on or use a tape roll to find the location that works best for you, and then apply them with the adhesive once you experience relief. Infrared light passes easily through the paper backing so it’s not necessary to remove it for them to work. Some of the other patches will improve sleep quality or provide more pain relief depending on where you place them.
Do I have to wear them on the locations shown on the brochure?
No, there are many locations you can put them on. Keeping them on acupressure points enables you to tap into the acupuncture system of the body which accelerates their effect. The patches work with the electrical system of the body, so keeping the on the mid line or the right side of the body is important. The exceptions to this are the tan patches that come in the two patch systems. Tan patches go on the left side of the body and the white patches go on the right. The SP6 patch also goes on the left side of the body. The stem cell patch is very versatile and can be placed on any area of the body while still having a systemic effect, meaning it still works throughout the entire body. If you are using the anti-inflammatory or glutathione patch on a wound site to accelerate healing, it’s ok to use them on the left side of the body. If the skin is broken, you can place the patch on top of the bandage or as close as you can get without placing it on top of the broken skin.
What if I want to wear two patches on the same location?
You can either place the patches directly on top of each other or you can place them right next to each other or vertically on the mid line of the body. Each of the patches use different crystals to reflect specific wavelengths of light, while allowing all other wavelengths to pass through the crystal lattice so stacking them on top of each other doesn’t interfere with both of the patches working.
Why is it important to drink more water while using the patches?
There are a couple of reason. First, the patches will initiate a healing response. The healing response can cause toxins to be dislodged from deep within the tissues of the body and it is important to give them a way to escape. Water is the vehicle necessary to remove these toxins from the body, by way of urine or sweating. Secondly, the patches work better when your body is well hydrated. The signals that these patches send to the body move much better when there is enough water in the cells to enable efficient communication throughout the entire body.
Can I reuse the patches after I’ve already worn them?
Yes. The crystals in the patch will melt after a period of time and will no longer be effective at all, but if you find the need to start slower with to prevent a detox reaction, you can again to get the full 12 hours of use out of them. Sometimes used patches will still stick after the first use but you may need to use surgical tape or a bandaid to keep them on.
Is there anything specific I have to know about how to care for them when I’m not wearing them?
The patches are activated by the infrared light emanating from your body. Infrared light extends two to three feet beyond the body, so keeping them at least three feet away from the body is important. Don’t keep them in your pocket or in your purse if you are wearing you purse on your body for long periods of time. Also, keep them out of hot areas like the car. Temperatures over 100 degrees for more than a few of days will degrade them as well as damage the adhesive backing and they will not stick properly. Electromagnetic field also weaken the patches so keep them away from microwave use and strong electromagnetic fields.
What is the shelf life of the patches?
They have a year and a half shelf life but if stored properly may last a little longer.
Why do I need a patch to provide my body with stem cells?
Stem cells are the miraculous cells in your body that can become any cell needed. An embryo starts out as a bundle of stem cells, which then become arms and legs and organs and skin and so on. This is why stem cells can repair and regenerate every cell, organ and function of the body. Stem cells begin to decline at the age of of 30. By the age 35, you only have 50% of the stem cell activity that you had as a child. At the age of 60, you have less than 75% of stem cell activity. At the age of 80, you have virtually none, which is why 80 year olds don’t typically heal very well. This is also why older people experience fast and dramatic results with these patches, the less stem cell activity they have, the more they notice the difference when their stem cells become reactivated again. Within the first 12 hours of use you have dramatically increased stem cell activity and in three months your entire body is saturated with new and regenerated stem cells.
Do I have to wear the patches every day?
Some patches are best to use every day. The stem cell activation patch is recommended every day for as long as you’d like to continue experiencing the benefits of more stem cell activity. When you quit wearing it, unfortunately your stem cell activity will begin to decline again and your body will begin it’s deterioration again. If you are using the patches for wound repair, obviously, you can discontinue use after the wound is healed. As far as the other patches, depending on what you are trying to accomplish, you may want to use them daily or just when needed.
Do I have to wear these patches forever?
As you age, your body naturally loses the ability to maintain stem cell activity. Stem cells are required for tissue repair, which is one of the reasons we age. As long as you are wearing the stem cell activation patch, your stem cells continue to remain active. Wearing this patch also births new stem cells, so even young people can accelerate healing by using it. When you quit wearing the patch, it stops activating and generating stem cells, so you will begin to age again. It’s like nutrition, when you give your body nutrients, you provide it with the raw materials needed to heal and repair. When you stop giving your body nutrients, it no longer has these raw materials and you may become deficient.
Is there anything I need to do to increase the effectiveness of the patches?
To get the most out of the patches you need to be well hydrated and maintain sufficient levels of calcium, magnesium and potassium as these minerals take part in sending electrical signals through the body’s meridians. Adequate levels of copper in the body are required for the stem cell patches to be effective. Copper deficiency is rare because we get copper from our foods, but supplementing with copper may also help increase the effectiveness of the patches. Copper is required to be able to make the copper peptide necessary to activate your stem cells. Fortunately, copper is easily supplemented by taking a chlorophyll supplement or eating foods rich in copper. Some foods that are high in copper include oysters, shitake mushrooms, tofu, sweet potatoes, sesame seeds, cashews, chick peas, salmon, dark chocolate, and avocados.
How do I get my money back if I’m not satisfied?
To utilize the money back guarantee all you have to do it call customer service and request a refund. Keep in mind that if you don’t notice any changes from the stem cell patches right away, your stem cells are most likely working on something deep inside that you are not aware of, like immune system or nervous system. It’s best to give them three to six months before you make a decision. Also keep in mind that adequate hydration is required for all of the various patches, as well as sufficient copper for the stem cell patches.
If I don’t feel good while wearing the patches, does that mean I’m allergic?
If you don’t feel good you are most likely experiencing detoxification symptoms. Glutathione, which is elevated while using the stem cell patch, removes chemicals, pesticides, bacteria, fungus, plastics, and heavy metals from the body. Sometimes, when these toxins are mobilized, you can feel them more than when they are hiding out deep inside of the tissues. It’s a GREAT thing that they are coming out, so try not to let this deter you from using the patches. If you need to, go slowly. Start with a minimum of one hour a day and work your way up to 12 hours of use by adding an hour or two each day. If you still don’t feel well after cutting down to an hour a day, wait until the symptoms subside to increase the time. Remember to drink lots of water when using the patches. This not only increases the effectiveness of the patches but also helps move the toxins out of the body. It IS possible to have an allergic reaction to the adhesive on the patches, but if this is the case, wearing the patches on the inside of your clothing can enable you to continue using the patches without exposing the surface of your skin to the adhesive.
If my skin becomes sensitive on the area that I wear the patch does it mean I’m allergic?
The adhesive used on the patches is a surgical grade adhesive made by 3M. Although it is hypoallergenic, about one in 10,000 people will have an allergy to it. Sometimes, you may be sensitive to the adhesive in some areas but not in others. Move the patches around to find the best locations for you. The neck, for example, is usually more sensitive than the top of the foot. The inside of the arm is usually more sensitive than the leg. Also, wearing the patches on different locations on different days so you are not wearing them on the same spot every day can be helpful. If you find that you are allergic to the adhesive, you can wear them on top of, or adhere to the inside of your clothing. The outer surface of the patches is the same on both sides (minus the adhesive) so if need be, you can use the non adhesive side and the patches will work equally as well. You can also wear the patches on the outside of clothing or bandages.
How is it possible that the patches still work when placed on the outside of clothing or bandages?
The patches are basically a reflective surface that reflect the infrared light that your body is naturally emitting BACK into your body. Infrared light passes easily through clothing, since clothing does not reflect or absorb the light. Because the light passes through the clothing, the patch will still reflect the light back into the body. This is also why the patches still work with the paper backing still on them.
Are the patches FDA approved?
Yes, the patches are approved under the general wellness category. Because the patches don’t put anything into the body other than the light that it naturally emits, they do not need food and drug approval.
